Active Hope to inspire us to take our practice off our mats and into the world.

Join Vickie and the Dawning Light Sangha for a morning of practice together.Learn simple meditation practices to calm body and mind.  Share in a welcoming and inclusive community to learn and support your meditation practice.

While inspired by the universal truth of the Buddhist teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, we are an inclusive group open to people of all faiths and traditions.  We practice sitting meditation, walking meditation, breathing practices and deep relaxation.  We also provide time at the end of our practice for connecting and sharing together, to help foster community.  Meditation groups are provided at no charge, however in the Buddhist spirit of “dana”, please feel free to contribute as you are able to support both the teachers and the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta.
