Experience the fundamental postures of Iyengar inspired yoga to promote flexability, strength and balance. This class is designed for those who are new to yoga and/or would like to focus on alignment in basic postures using the principles of Iyengar yoga that Lenore has learned in the first two years of teacher training.
Iyengar yoga teaches you to take your awareness into different areas of the body to revitalize and heal. It uses a specific method of sequencing the postures that balances both body and mind. To experience your best version of the pose and develop concentration, Iyengar focuses on alignment and precision in action. We also use props to make postures accessible and beneficial for different body types.
